Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry
This new website uses interactive content (e-sources) to encourage student interest in science and to support teaching in Primary and Secondary schools.
Developed and supported by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, the website provides an invaluable link between science topics studied in school and their applications in industry and research. Currently (02.01.03) no material for ks1 but the interactive ks2 section on 'The Skin' with questions and quizzes is impressive.
The resource on Solids, Liquids and Gases, uses animations to help explain how substances behave, and how they change from solid to liquid to gas.
Teachers might use one section of the resource with a class, together with practical work suggested in one or more of the downloadable worksheets.
